San Diego's most delicious 5K & 10K is BACK and better than ever!!
NEW LOCATION... SAME DONUT VIBE!
The Donut Dash 5K includes a donut themed finisher's medal and event tee, free donut bar and Festival at the finish line (over 1,000 donuts), and our locally famous "Donut Mile" (think beer mile but with donuts).
This is a family fun event so come on out and see what the best donut shops and bakeries have to offer as they offer up FREE donuts to all in attendance! This is one event you "donut" want to miss.
This event is now located at the beautiful Kit Carson Park in Escondido. The course offers a 3-mile loop course around the park which features sidewalk, trails, and scenic views with amazing art sculptures along the way.
The Donut mile course features a 1/4 mile loop course.
The staging area for this event will be positioned at the El Arroyo picnic area near the duck pond.

San Diego Donut Mile:
The donut dash is a 1 MILE course with 4 laps around the dedicated park area. All runners must eat (and swallow) a regular glazed or cake donut to begin each lap of the "dash". The first runner to complete all 4 laps and eat 4 donuts will be crowned the DONUT DASH Champion! The Donut Dash will be limited to 100 runners.
Please note this is a separate registration from the 5K race. You do NOT have to participate in the 5K to be eligible for the Donut Dash race. If you are signed up for the 5K distance you can also select the Donut Dash option at checkout to add this to your registration. Minimum age to enter the Donut Dash is 13 years of age.
The Donut Mile is limited to 100 participants, with 4 waves of 25 people/wave.




Finish Line Festival and Donut Bar
Did someone say DONUT BAR? You read that right... Race San Diego and the Rancho Bernardo Community Council have partnered with local bakeries and donut shops for FREE donuts at the finish line.
Try out some of best local donuts, GOURMET, GLAZED, CREAM/JELLY FILLED, BEAR CLAWS! So many options!! Bring the family, and your appetite, run or cheer, just come out and support the community, and have fun!
